1. Southport Trades is an introduction service
Southport Trades does not carry out the trade work advertised by listed businesses and is not an employer, agent, partner or subcontractor of those businesses. A customer and business deal directly with each other.
2. Business information
Profiles may contain information supplied by the member business, including services, coverage, experience, images, accreditations, insurance or availability. We may review profile content for suitability, but unless a page expressly states otherwise, publication should not be treated as independent verification, certification, recommendation or endorsement.
3. Customer checks
Customers should make checks appropriate to the proposed work before appointing a business. Depending on the job, this may include checking identity, qualifications, professional registrations, public-liability insurance, references, written quotations, warranties and whether planning, building-control or other approvals are needed.
4. Prices, availability and work
Southport Trades does not set or approve a member's prices and cannot guarantee that a business will respond, attend, quote, accept work or complete it to a particular standard. Any quotation, contract, deposit, payment, guarantee or dispute is between the customer and the business.
5. Website information and availability
We aim to keep the website accurate and available, but content may become out of date and technical interruptions can occur. Search-engine positions, member listing impressions and lead volumes can change and are not guaranteed.
6. External links
Member profiles may link to external websites. Southport Trades does not control those sites and is not responsible for their content, availability, security, privacy practices or transactions.
7. Emergencies
Southport Trades is not an emergency-response service. If there is immediate danger to life or property, use the appropriate emergency service or specialist emergency number rather than relying on a website enquiry being seen or answered.
